how to cure arthritis from trauma and how to build auticular cartilage?
any information regarding this would be helpful. also advice and experiences would be helpful too, thank u.
Its a little tricky because exercise is needed to help the joint rebuild, but exercise can wear down the cartilage faster than it builds, so you have to pay careful attention to pain and inflammation to find the limits. Isometric exercises are very good when starting out. Probably one of the most important things is encouraging blood flow to the cartilage. You can do this by stretching the joint daily and massaging the joint for several minutes, following the stretching. Blood flow is also stimulated by applying ice to the joint for a bout 10-15 minutes after exercising. If you leave the ice on longer, it starts reducing flow, so keep it short. You might also see about visiting a physical therapist to get you started.
