neck arthritis relief
After a year of severe neck pain following an accident I have been told I have extensive arthritis. despite ?

despite hefty pain relief I am in agony and unable to sleep. I am waiting to see a consultant for gold injections but does anyone have any tips as to how I can improve life.
I don’t give in easily and push myself to the limit but am struggling and want to get as much quality life as possible. i am newly married with a wonderful husband, children and grandchildren and hate them seeing me struggle.

Thanks guys

Do not (I repeat- do not) keep going. You have problems and you need to address them, not ignore them. Pain is our bodies way of saying, hey – that hurts – slow down! Talk to your doctors. Try heat and cold therapy, massages, biofeedback, neck braces – try whatever they suggest. You never know what may help you.

I would see a pain specialist for further evaluation. They may be able to help you with injections or medications for your pain.

I’m so sorry you’re in such pain. I hope you find some treatments to help you. Keep looking, don’t give up – and please, stop and smell the roses. Don’t keep pushing yourself.
