can the use of prednisone for rheumatoid arthitits for a monthwill this cause white blood cells to rise?
my daughter has been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthitis and they have put her on mexitrate or not sure about spelling but have also give her prednisone for pain now her white blood cells are up to 22 this is very high please let me know her dr said wait till next month ck again but ther general practioner says not right to let go that long
Prednisone commonly causes an increase in the white cell count.
