Rheumatoid Arthritis Children Symptoms
I’ve recently discovered an E-book on the subject of rheumatoid arthritis relief called “Conquer Arthritis Now” by medical researcher Chris Callahan. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s the ultimate guide to understanding rheumatoid arthritis and putting an end to the pain it causes. This well-written document cites proven evidence from research studies and clinical trials to empower arthritis sufferers to take charge of their healing and conquer their pain for good. To Be Sure: Arthritis cannot be cured, but the symptoms of arthritis can. That’s why Conquer Arthritis Now focuses on easy, affordable ‘lifestyle management’ techniques that anyone can use to end pain and prevent it from coming back. I have a 7 year old son with severe knee pain?
My 7 year old son about 2 months ago started to complain that his knees hurt. As the month went on, it got worse. We took him to the doctor who ran a bunch of blood tests. Lyme test negative, normal results for normal blood work. His SED rate was slightly higher (meaning he had a swollen joint….we knew that) and ONE of his ANA results was slightly high as well. We were told to go to a rheumitolist which we are, but not until 8/28. Each day the knees seem worse. Motrin helps slightly and he is walking like an old man. Our pediatrician said it could be juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. He is very into sports and the idea of him having arthritis at such a young age is scaring me. Has anyone out there ever heard of a child having this? OR what else could it be? BE HONEST!!! Details, symptoms, etc. Thanks for any advice. PS. We ruled out growing pains as they do not last this long and you do not get swollen knees from that.
It seems that 1 in 1,000 young people in the UK suffer from arthritis.
