The pain and blood ANA?

I went a walkin clinic last week because my back and I've had it for years. They did an ANA bloodtest and it came back abnormal. When I called to find out where to go from there, she said it was positive, but my RF factor was negative. I have ben trying to read about this, but I do not really understand. I'm going to the doctor in the morning, but I want a kind heads-up for what I could hear. Rheumatoid arthritis is present in every woman, every generation of my mother's side.

With a negative RF is unlikely to have rheumatoid arthritis, but there are "negative" forms of rheumatoid arthritis … similar to RA, but with a negative test RF. The positive ANA (anti-nuclear) means that you have a form of autoimmune disease. It might take a little work detective to track down what it actually is.
