I was misdiagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.?

I was diagnosed with RA after a severe flare up of inflammation in the joints, etc. All labs pointed to RA. But now they have decided I don’t have RA. And are looking at osteomalacia because of vitamin D deficiency and symptoms.

Anyone have any ideas?

Some general information on osteomalacia (called “rickets” if the patient is a child) may be found at http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000376.htm. Interestingly, ostomalacia (literally “bone softening”) has been linked, by some, to fluoride exposure. If you’d like to read about this, see http://www.fluoridealert.org/health/bone/fluorosis/osteomalacia.html
