I 6o years and my hair is thinning rapidly. What can I do?

I have rheumatoid arthritis, just had a hip replacement, off for 4 months prednizone. I know steroids stay in body for 2 years, so I gained weight. I want my hair of yesteryear. Suggestions?

1. Assess your nutritional status. The loss of hair at your age may be related to poor diet, including the home vegetable insufficient. 2. Get your thyroid. rapid blood test. Low functioning thyroid can cause hair loss rather dramatic throughout the body. 3. Maybe hereditary / stress / a hat / altitude / smoking. Congratulations on your hip.
