Help! Something is wrong with my ankle!?
Ive been having pain in my left ankle and its swelled. for 2 days.
This has happened before. But this is much worse.
I have not hurt myself at all. I do have Rheumatoid arthritis.
I am unable to stand on my feet as my ankles and my back hurt really bad. I try not to do so much on my feet. I am overweight and am dieting and watching my salt intake.
Here is A picture of my ankle and please tell me if I should go to the doctor for this? and what this could possibility be?

Yes, with RA you can flare up anywhere at anytime and it isn’t picky. I would call and talk to the nurse and take her advise about seeing the Dr. Are you on medication? Can you take more if needed or not? Call the Dr. and find out. Has this happened before? If not you will need to see the Dr. for sure. If it had happened before in other parts of the body, do the same treatment if possible. Stay off it as much as you can and maybe some ice for 15 mins. would help some. Then maybe some heat. If this isn’t a treatment you have used before, ask the nurse first. Also, you are seeing a Rheumatoid Dr. right? You need to…they are the specialist and they know a lot more than your MD does.
