my hands always hurt?
my hands hurt all the time, 24/7, hot or cold weather, day or night, ALWAYS! when i move them they crack like crazy, especially mu thumb. when i told my mom about it she immediatley thought Rheumatoid Arthritis because it is very common in our family. She took me to the doctor and he did the blood test but it came back totaly normal and it didnt show i have RA. ok, but then what do I have? cuz i woke up this morning and my hands were so cramped shut i had to somehow painfully pull them open. the doc also said im not old enough cuz im in my late teens. idk…im at a loss here! please help!
Find a new doctor! Anyone can have rheumatoid arthritis and blood tests are not always accurate. What blood tests did they run? I’m only 21 years old and I have arthritis. My friend was diagnosed at 10 months old.
A GP is not an expert on rheumatological conditions. You need to see a rheumatologist.
